SATURDAY, MAY 15: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Garage Sale at OLW School Samantha is having another fundraiser Garage Sale. If you have any items you'd like to donate we'd love to have them. The garage sale will be at Our Lady of Wisdom School (1565 St. Georges Street, Orleans, ON K1E 1R2) on Saturday May 15th from 9:00 - 2:00. If anyone wants to help that would be awesome too!!! Thanks - 100% of proceeds go to cancer research. |

January 18, 2010: Boston Pizza Celebrity Night Fundraiser for Cancer Research Samantha and her sisters, Alexandria & Shaeleen hosted their 2nd Boston Pizza Fundraiser.
They raised $1,891.00 for cancer research! Way to go girls!!! Here are a few pics from the event.

September 13, 2009: 29th Annual Terry Fox Run Join Samantha and Maw (and their families) at the 29th Annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 13, 2009 in Orleans, ON. Sam will be selling her cancer bracelets to help raise even more money for cancer research. To make on-line donations for Samantha or any member of her group that will be participating in the run, please click here. They are running in memory of Dave "Paw" Quinn who passed away on August 8, 2007 after a very brief battle with lung cancer.

| SEPTEMBER 2008 |
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2008: 28th Annual Terry Fox Run. Join Samantha and Maw (and their families) at the 28th Annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 14, 2008 (Carleton University, Anniversary Park at the Bronson entrance.) This year's Ottawa run is being dedicated to Sami's grandfather, Paw!
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2008: Samantha was given a United Way Community Builder Award on Thursday, September 11, 2008, in recognition of her fundraising efforts to raise money to end cancer. To date, Sam has raised over $12,000 (in
SEPTEMBER 12, 2008: Samantha and her grandmother, Maw, had a contest going since the summer—if Sam raised $1,000 she would shave her head, BUT, if Maw raised more money than Samantha, Sam wouldn't be allowed to shave her head. Sam raised $1, 327.42. Maw raised $1,087.27. Sam won and shaved her head on September 12, 2008 (Terry Fox Great Canadian Head Shaving Day). Cancer Research was the real winner with $2,414.69 being raised for this event.

SPRING GARAGE SALE, OUR LADY OF WISDOM SCHOOL:Thank you to everyone who donated items, bought stuff and helped out. We raised $871.93! Special thanks to Lina Belanger, Our Lady of Wisdom kindergarden teacher, for all her hard work and many hours organizing the garage sale. You're truly awesome! GAME 8 - METRO DIVISION FINAL: Just prior to game 8 of the Metro Division final, Assistant Coach, Mr. Mayo introduced Samantha to the crowd, then presented her with an enormous cheque for $1000. MARCH 10, 2008, 5-9 PM: Samantha's Wish raises $3,378.97 at Boston Pizza Orléans Celebrity Night.

Micpo worked all night bringing smiles and delight to everyone. What he can create with a balloon is amazing. He performed very creative magic tricks that have left many of us still wondering "How'd he do that?" Micpo donated all of his tips to Samantha's cancer research goal! Thanks MICPO!!!
